Greetings! We're grateful for your generosity and the ways we continue to worship, liberate and serve together.


During the weekend, we look forward to your presence during Sunday meditations at 9 am and worship at 9:30 am.


During the week, we look forward to connecting with you during Morning Meditations at Metropolitan at 7 am Monday through Friday, and for our Men's prayer call at 7:30 am Monday.


Noonday and Pastor’s Study will not be held this week because of Thanksgiving.


We wish you and your family a safe Thanksgiving and holiday weekend.

The Sarah Allen Missionary Society (SAMS) has received a generous donation of turkeys for the Thanksgiving holiday. The turkeys will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis and picked up at the church on Tuesday, November 23, 2021

The Love and Peace Unit of the Sarah Allen Missionary Society is kicking off the Angel Tree Project, continuing their 40-year ministry of supporting children in need by purchasing Christmas gifts for 200 children in the DMV community. This year they are asking for gift card purchases instead of actual gifts. Donations will also be accepted by checks made to Love and Peace – Metropolitan AMEC.


Gift cards and donations are due by December 15, 2021 and should be mailed to:

The Men's Prayer Call is a sacred space where brothers can share and explore their relationship with God in Christ Jesus. All brothers are encouraged to join. The call will be every Monday Morning at 7:30 am – 7:45 am on Zoom.
