Please place new or gently used books for pre-k through third grade reading level in baskets in the church lobby. What a great opportunity to pass on those books your children and grandchildren have outgrown, or you are welcome to purchase new books if you choose.

Let's Make History Together in 2024: Join NCNW's Eight-State/All State Voter Mobilization Strategy!
As we approach the critical 2024 election year, The National Council of Negro Women has launched an impactful initiative: The Eight-State/All-State Strategy. Our goal is to significantly increase voter turnout from 2022, especially among Black women and young voters ages 17-18. This strategy focuses on activating and mobilizing our dedicated members across the country to ensure every voice is heard and every voice is counted. Target states include: Georgia, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Virginia. While we focus on these eight states, we need the collective power of all of our members nationwide. Regardless of where you live, your participation is crucial. We encourage every NCNW member and affiliate to get involved and mobilize their communities. Together, we can make a difference.
How You Can Get Involved:
Phone Banking: Reach out to potential voters to provide information and encouragement.
Canvassing: Go door to door in your community to register voters and spread the word about the importance of voting.
Voter Registration Drives: Organize and participate in events to register new voters.
Social Media Campaigns: Use your platforms to share information and inspire others to vote.
