Join us in worship for Epiphany Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 10 am. Bishop Reginald T. Jackson, Presiding Prelate, 2nd Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church will be our preacher.
We are pleased to announce that transportation services will resume on January 5, 2025, after a long hiatus. Starting in January, transportation will be available on the first and third Sundays of each month. Services may be expanded to other Sundays based on the demand. The Men's Prayer Call is a sacred space where brothers can share and explore their relationship with God in Christ Jesus. All brothers are encouraged to join. The call will be every Monday Morning from 7:30 am – 7:45 am on Zoom.

Train up your child in the way they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it. Church School meets each Sunday morning at 8:30 am, and concludes at 10am in Douglass Hall. There are classes available for EVERYONE! We will be excited to see you in attendance!

Metropolitan is a living, breathing monument to what we can do together. Our mothers and fathers envisioned a stately physical presence in the heart of the empire's capital. But they wanted more than a building, they desired a space where people would be built into faithful, fearless followers of the One who still defeats death!
I believe in who we are and where we are going. I am asking each of us to give according to our ability. Some will give more. Some will give less. What's important is that we all give. Each one of us must sacrifice for our beloved home!
